Just like Fabian's story, on April 25, 2011, Jackson, a 5lb Morkie Terrier was attacked and killed by an unleashed pit bull.
His owners, Kim Thore and Dr. Jon Epstein were shocked that no laws existed in North Carolina that addressed the issue of "Dog-on-Dog" attacks.
They too are now seeking change in North Carolina and have adopted language from Fabian's Law. Jackson's Law and Fabian's Law are now working together to see that change in North Carolina.
